How much does therapy cost?

Therapy sessions are $225 for a 50-minute session. Double sessions are also available if you want extra time in a session.

What type of clients do you work with?

Do you see clients in person?

No, my practice is completely online. All sessions are conducted through HIPAA-secure video, so you can attend from home, work, or wherever you feel most comfortable.

What is online therapy or distance counseling?

My psychology practice is completely online, also called telepsychology. I am seeing clients through HIPAA-secure video, which you can conveniently access via your personal computer or phone.

Therapy is a collaborative process tailored to you. Together we’ll explore what’s coming up for you, understand patterns, and choose approaches that fit your goals. You’ll always have a voice in shaping the work we do together.

How often do I need to go to therapy?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. The frequency depends on your goals, your schedule, and what feels helpful for you. We’ll talk about what makes sense for your needs when we first connect.

How can I share with someone I don’t even know?

It’s totally normal to wonder this. Therapy is designed to be a safe, confidential space where you’re encouraged to share at your own pace. I work intentionally to build trust and a sense of safety so that over time you can talk about what matters to you.

Do you accept insurance?

I’m an in-network provider with Aetna for Arizona clients only. For all other plans or locations, I do not accept insurance directly. You can choose to pay out-of-pocket and, if you want, I’ll give you a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.  You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes psychotherapy services.  You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
