I accept Aetna for Arizona clients. Otherwise, I am private pay.
I’m an in-network provider with Aetna for Arizona clients only.
With other plans I am considered an out-of-network provider, meaning I do not accept insurance directly. I can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
If you have Aetna insurance and are in Arizona, you can speak with me about how to use your benefits.
Otherwise, I am considered an out-of-network provider, and you can check if your insurance will reimburse you for therapy. In this case you pay me directly, and you are responsible for submitting your claims for possible reimbursement.
To determine if your insurance will reimburse you, you can start by calling the number on the back of your health insurance card. Then you can ask the following questions about your coverage:
• Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage? Do these benefits cover telehealth?
• Do I have an annual deductible I need to meet before these benefits apply? What is that amount? How far am I from meeting my deductible this year?
• How much will I be reimbursed for a 50-minute therapy session (CPT code 90834)?
• How do I submit superbill claims for reimbursement?
• How long does it take to get reimbursed after I submit my claims?

Therapy is a collaborative process tailored to you. Together we’ll explore what’s coming up for you, understand patterns, and choose approaches that fit your goals. I have 20 years of experience in the field and approach therapy with transparency- I'll let you know what I'm thinking and recommend, but you'll always have a voice in shaping the work we do together. I believe you're the expert on you and have a great deal of inner wisdom to guide our work.
In our 15-minute free consultation call I'll invite you to share the concerns that are bringing you to therapy. I'll let you know how I generally approach these issues. Y(http://work.how)ou can asking me any specific questions that I didn't cover. Finally, we'll make sure our schedules align. If we decide we're a good fit, we'll schedule an intake session.
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. The frequency depends on your goals, your schedule, and what feels helpful for you. We’ll talk about what makes sense for your needs when we first connect.
I recommend starting with weekly therapy while we are getting to know one another, with potential to increase or decrease from there.
It’s totally normal to wonder this. Therapy is designed to be a safe, confidential space where you’re encouraged to share at your own pace. I aim to create that environment by being curious and nonjudgmental.
